Juniperus pfitzeriana 'Daub's Frosted'
Features and Where to use
We have never met Daub, but we are glad he had this juniper to offer up. It's Golden new growth is absolutely saturated with colour and it's toned with Blue and green making it a colour party. He's a bit prickly so not for right beside the patio, but off in the background or out front of the house is a good spot. It is also very drought tolerant, so when you go on vacation and forget to water..... won't matter to this guy.
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - survives to -34C.
Sizing - Maximum size is 2.5 feet high and 5' wide, but don't worry, that would take a while, a trim once a year will keep it in the 2-3' range.
Location - Full sun to 25% shade, wind is no issue, prefers drier spots.
