This is in the Annabelle or 'Smooth' family of hydrangeas and she is a smooth performer. Summer brings beautiful purple-pink 3-4" wide blooms that provide colour for the whole summer. These will look best when planted in multiples, and can go behind short perennials or in front of shrubs and trees.
Cold hardiness - Hardy in winter to temperatures of -34C. Sizing - Tidy and compact, Mini Mauvette grows to approximately 2.5' tall and 2' wide, prune every year in early spring to about 12" tall. Location - Full sun to half shade, tolerates wind, Hydrangeas need their summer moisture to perform their best so if it’s a dry one then get some water over to it. Every 4-7 days for a deep soak.
