Features and Where to use
Golden Yews are friendly looking shrubs, trim them or leave them alone when young, like a friend you can call up 3 years later and everything feels the same, it'll do it's thing and give colour to the landscape. As it gets older, some pruning is required.
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - Good to hold its own down to -34C. Sizing - Grows to 4' tall and wide (a bit larger if left untrimmed). Can also be maintained nicely in the 2-3' sweet spot. Location - Full sun to 75% shade (less colourful in shade), bring on the wind, and it is compliant with dry or moist soils.
