Features and Where to use
This native shrub is becoming popular in the garden too. Course green foliage is nicely contrasted with white, flat topped, 'fuzzy' summer flowers that develop into black edible (when cooked) berries in the fall. It naturalizes easily by sending up suckers, but if you prefer, you can keep it more tidy with pruning.
