Features and Where to use
Crimson King Maple (Acer Platanoides 'Crimson King') is a popular burgundy-leafed shade tree, and for good reason. It's dramaticaly dark foliage is a great contrast to brick, stone, greenery and the summer sky. It grows naturally in a rounded, dense form and requires little maintenance (other than leaf raking!).
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - Hardy in temperatures down to -34C.
Sizing - These trees are strong growers in any soil type, will get to be 40' tall and 35' wide. Location - best in full sun, moist to dry conditions, wind hardy.
