Features and Where to use
The Norway Spruce (also known as 'Picea Abies'): You've seen it growing all over Canadian landscapes, in naturalized areas, country yards, and city lots (you might have even had one in your living room at Christmas time). It's durable and hardy. It's fast growing too, so you'll quickly get screening from your nosy neighbors.
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - Will survive in winter temperatures down to -40C (zone 2).
Sizing - It's mature height is in the 60' tall range, and width at the base is 25'.
Location - Full sun to partial shade, good wind tolerance, prefers moist sandy loam soil.
