Features and Where to use
Chicago Hardy is one of the most popular figs for the cold Canadian climate. It is prized for it's abundant harvest of medium sized purple fruits, producing 1 or 2 crops per season. Suitable for container growing.
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - Zone 6. Although Chicago Hardy can handle a bit of a chill, we recommend bringing it into a temperature protected place for the coldest months.
Sizing - Can grow to 10' tall and 9' wide, but will stay smaller when grown in a container.
Location - Full sun.
