The Dwarf Mugo Pine is an industry standard that has stood the test of time. Can tolerate the toughest winters and parking lot locations. Prune once a year, when new shoots (known as candles) come out in late spring, cut them down to 25-50% of their length and poof you have a tight shrub for another year.
Cold Hardiness - Well Cold hardiness should be it's middle name, We peg it at -40C but some have reported it surviving at -50C! Sizing - Full untrimmed size 3' tall by 5' wide, happy to stay 2' high by 3' wide with the once a year trim in June. Location - Full sun to half shade, wind is no issue, drier is better.
