The Tricolour Beech has long been a desired feature plant for protected areas. Its leaves have a purple-green center with luminescent pink and wide edges and it stands out. Amend the soil area well to provide drainage and easier streets for the rootzone.
Cold hardiness - They can survive down to -30C. Sizing - up to 25' tall and 15' wide in ideal land. Location - 25% shade to 75% shade, so not full sun, especially afternoon sun because the pink and white on the leaf will burn somewhat, it likes protection from harsh winds, and doesn't like wet feet.
