Acer palmatum 'Twombly's Red Sentinel'
Features and Where to use
Twombly’s Red Sentinel, like a well-trained soldier keeping watch strong and free, it guards over the landscape palate, holding it together in balance and beauty! It’s deep red leaf colour, similar to Bloodgood, provides a beautiful contrast and focal point in the garden. Compared with other red upright varieties, Twombly’s is more compact and has smaller leaves that are tightly spaced. When the cooler Fall temperatures come, its foliage turns a brilliant shade of nearly florescent red!
