Features and Where to use
White spruce grow in abundance in Northern Ontario, but can be found throughout the province also. They are a durable tree and do well in most landscape conditions, from city yards to country plots. They produces cones, which, along with it's pleasing evergreen frame, make this an excellent choice for winter interest. A natural habitat for birds and other wildlife.
Growth Details
Cold Hardiness - Will survive in winter temperatures down to -40C (zone 2).
Sizing - It's mature height is in the 40-60' tall range, and width at the base is 10-20'.
Location - Sun to shade, good wind tolerance, grows in almost any soil conditions and a range of moisture levels.
